Your 2 Nights in Merzouga desert begins in the late afternoon from Merzouga, close to the Erg Chebbi dunes. After meeting your team, you’ll start an unforgettable camel ride that lasts around one and a half hours, slowly moving deeper into the dunes.
Along the way, your guide will choose a scenic spot to pause and enjoy the sunset, as the sand changes color and the desert becomes calm and quiet. This is an ideal moment for photos and for simply soaking in the beauty of the Sahara.
Once you arrive at the desert camp, you’ll be welcomed with traditional mint tea and shown to your tent. After some time to relax or walk around the dunes, a freshly prepared dinner will be served. The evening continues around the campfire, where drum music and local songs create a warm and lively atmosphere beneath the desert sky. You’ll then spend your first night sleeping peacefully in the heart of the Sahara.

Your first stop will be in the black rocky desert, where volcanic stones create a dramatic contrast with the sand. You’ll visit a nomadic Berber family living in traditional tents, where you’ll learn about their way of life and share a cup of desert tea.
The 2 Nights in Merzouga desert continues toward a panoramic viewpoint near the Algerian border, offering wide-open views of the desert.
